All Alcoe saunas have exceptional craftsmanship with solid, yet safe construction for everyone from young children to older adults. There's no question, we pay close attention to each and every detail of our saunas from construction, wood and heaters to accessories -- we produce the best.
Alcoe saunas are made of fine grained Nordic White Spruce and Abachi. Other woods used in our saunas are clear Western Red Cedar, clear Aspen, clear all-heart Redwood, or clear vertical grain Hemlock. The advantages of these woods are many. They're comfortable to the touch at high temperatures. There's no need to worry about knots or splinters. And they resist stains and odor absorption. The solid wood construction combines a high degree of heat retention and radiation with the ability to absorb moisture and "breathe."
The heart and soul of Alcoe saunas, the heaters, are beyond comparison. The rock capacity -- the single most important feature -- is remarkably large creating a soft, more energy-efficient heat. The exceptional design creates more direct contact between the elements and rocks, which eliminates the harsh "electric toaster" feel found in lower quality heaters. Inner stainless steel shell, triple wall construction and built-in controls are just a few of the outstanding features of our heaters.
